Smart Magazine is a streetstyle magazine coming out of Japan, most famous for its role in the rise of the Ura-Harajuku movement led by names such as Nigo, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Jun Takahashi, and more! The Harajuku culture of the 1990s and early 2000s paved the way for the streetwear giants of today with Virgil Abloh and Kim Jones citing the time period as key influences in their fashion journey. Featuring brands like Bape, Goodenough, Undercover, Stüssy, and more, these issues are pieces of history that continue to impact streetwear and fashion scenes to this day.
